To make sure your research is thorough enough you should have answers/ evidence for the following questions:

• Why is the issue important locally? Write about Loughton – how is recycling an important issue? Write about recycling facilities in the local area.
• Write about how you have looked at the issue of recycling in school – make up some examples of what you learnt in school
   
• Write about the issue of recycling nationally – why is it a global concern? Where did you get your information from?
   
• Write about the issue of recycling in the school. Why is it an important issue? What do the students think about recycling?
• Overall, comment on that recycling is both a national and a local issue and that is the reason why you choose it for your issue.
• Attach all of your research to this part – write about how you went about researching the issue at this stage.
